Erin + Zac Wedding - Tysons Corner, VA

Erin and Zac’s wedding took “personal” to the next level. With family and friends spread throughout the country, they selected Northern Virginia for a destination wedding. Erin and Zac lived in “NoVA” together before moving to Colorado- it is the site where they shared many memories and their relationship grew. The ceremony took place at the exquisite Ritz Carlton in Tyson’s Corner. Erin and Zac said their vows in a traditional Persian ceremony. The officiant, as a representative of the groom, wooed Erin with love poems until she could not resist giving her acceptance of marriage. Meanwhile, the bride and groom’s sisters sprinkled them with sugar to “sweeten their relationship.” After the ceremony, everyone headed to Shamshiry, the couples’ favorite Persian restaurant. Greeted by a generous buffet, guests were able to try all of the couples’ favorite dishes. The ceremony and reception included numerous live performances by musicians and vocalists from Erin and Zac’s friends and family. Erin even surprised her groom by singing a song- leaving no dry eye in the room. The romantic ceremony, heartfelt songs and speeches, and even Zac’s favorite chocolate chip cookies to take home left guests in awe of such a personal and meaningful wedding.
